Malacca Malacca Malacca!
Muahahaha...couldn't think of a catchy title...ended up with something similar to what Malaysians shout on National Day...
This post (yea yea I know..finally..sorry sorry!!) is about my 3-day, 2-night trip to Malacca to visit EngKie the Platypus! The trip was a BLAST thanks to :
ENG KIAT : The generous host.
JIAN WEY: Our 'leng chai si kei koko' <-- (direct translation : Handsome driver brother) MUN LING : Resident JOKER and all the others who made the trip uber fun : XUANNI, CHONG CHYN, SHARKEY and ME!
Took a bus from Ipoh pagi-pagi buta and reached KL around 10 plus. Waited in KL Sentral for the rest to arrive. Jian Wey came to drive us to Malacca ( MLC for short). We were debating how to get to Mlc when Mun Ling came out with " Aiyah, just go straight until you see the Mlc sign, den you turn lor! ". We bet her a sweet that there isn't a sign saying " Mlc, turn here!". Lost the bet and gave her back her own sweet. Reached Mlc, met up with Eng Kiat, then 1st thing we did was to put our luggage down. After that, FOOD!!!!!!
Chicken Rice Balls with Assam Fish Head Curry!!!
Japanese Crepe Cake --> YUM!!!
SATAY CELUP!!!
Taiwanese Spare Rib Noodles in Beef Gravy
Nyonya Laksa
CENDOL!
TauKua Rojak
Okays enough food pictures..I bet you're all drooling by now..especially Yew Chang Yang who didn't come along!
At night we played drinking games and laughed til our sides split. We were loud enough to wake neighbours a few blocks away. Didn't get tipsy though...The second night we played Truth or Dare.. It was super funny when Mun Ling woke Jian Wey up with her cheese performance, not to mention Xuanni's X-rated video ( Chang Yang! Ask her for it!!), Chyn and Engkie's "sexy" dance down the stairs..
On the second day we rode trishaws from Stadhuys ( pronounced : Sted-haos) to A Famosa Fort. Chyn and I rode in one trishaw, Xuanni and Shake, Jian Wey and Engkie, and Mun Ling in one by herself. My trishaw driver was super nice to us! The others all trundled along fast and was soon at A Famosa but we ( CHyn and I) were cycled along slowly while the driver explained the sights to us. He even stopped the trishaw to let us take pics at the train and WWII aeroplane and the Melaka tree.
After that we took pics with the trishaw and with the driver. He was really very nice, even though he had a tendency to put his arm around your shoulders when taking pictures. He even gave us both each a postcard ( a picture of him on his trishaw. Cool eh? I would like to be on a postcard too) for free!
All in all, we had a major BLAST in Malacca..Ate tons, camwhore lots, laughed till tears came out, made lots of memories with a whole bunch of wacky people... Lets do it again next hols!!
